Central pricing policy

One of the fundamental ideas regarding the central management of the circulation of goods in chain stores is a precise determination and establishment of sales prices and the required profit ratios of individual types of goods.

The B.O.S.S. Enterprise system has all pricing definitions based on their time validity.

The following may be identified on assortment cards at the central administration unit:

• possibility to establish the price for the entire chain of stores at the same time, or to create an exception for the selected store or for all stores
• price may be set for each specific sale unit of the relevant goods (e.g. for one piece and another one for packaging)
• unlimited number of price ranges for each goods measuring unit (unlimited number of goods prices)
• establishment of fixed sales price - the exact price definition also defines the value of the goods
• establishment of the desired profit margin/ratio - sales price is set at the shop at the time of goods receipt and based on the preset business profit ratio
• round up table showing calculated prices, offering extensive setup options
• complete support for foreign currencies and establishment of prices in foreign currencies, including flyer events
• clear information window displaying on-line inventory of goods, purchase values and profit ratios at individual stores, indicators of future development relevant to the price changing process
• possibility to establish the desired business and trading profits for each group of goods and automatic calculation of fixed sales prices, based on the preset purchase price
• establishment of flyer sales events with "from-to" time specifications, happy hours
• sale of discounted goods and tracking of lost profits, supplier reimbursements
• automated printing of goods labels in branches and according to preset parameters
